Poppy (Papaver) - Flemish Antique

Very easy to grow with large romantic paeony-flowered blooms. The exotic looking flowers are wonderful as a 'filler' for gaps in the border or stunning planted 'en masse'. A hardy annual.
The use of ‘opium’ Poppies predates written history with evidence found in ancient artifacts in Iran en Greece. It is unclear at what point they were developed into the beautiful ornamental forms known today.
