African Daisy (Osteospermum) - Salmon

Long flowering, easily grown plants which are drought tolerant and like to face the sun. They make wonderful container plants and are good fillers for the border. Also known as 'African Daisy' or 'Namaqualand Daisy'. A hardy annual.

The name originates from the Greek ‘dis’, two, ‘morphe’, from and ‘theke’ case referring to the two different forms of seed it produces. A native of South Africa it is found growing in drifts in the Northern Cape.
