Aster (Callistephus) - Matsumoto Violet Stripe

Superior China Asters developed for wilt resistance, which bloom over a long season. Ideal for late summer drifts in the border and show stopping cutflowers. A half hardy annual.
A native of China, the Matsumoto series was bred in Japan, for long stems and tight blooms making it the perfect cutflower. The name Callistephus derives from Greek ‘kallos’ beauty and ‘stephos’ crown.
