Salpiglossis - Kew Blue

This stunning selection was believed to have originated in Kew. The shimmering velvety, funnel-shaped blooms are a wonderful addition to borders and are dramatic in containers. A half hardy annual.

The name derives from the Greek ‘salpinx’ tube and ‘glossa’, tongue and it is commonly known as ‘Painted Tongue’. This enticing annual is native to the canyons and slopes of the Chilean Andes.
