Lettuce - Lambs Lettuce Gala

Vigorous plants with large, semi-rounded leaves in loose rosettes. They have a soft, texture and delicate, distinctive flavour, generally eaten in salads and a tasty substitute to spinach in recipes.

Recipe Tip: Cut red cabbage and carrots into really thin crunchy slices. Add to a bowl of lambs lettuce and drizzle with a little balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Season with salt, pepper and squeeze of fresh orange juice, sprinkle with chopped walnuts and serve.
