Called 'Cypress Vine' or 'Star Glory' for it's masses of radiant star-like flowers and beautiful fine pinnate foliage. Will climb fences and trellis and can also be grown in conservatories. A half hardy annual.
Native to tropical America and sub tropical areas but much naturalized elsewhere. Ipomoea derives from the Greek ‘ips’, meaning worm-like, referring to its twining stems.
