Datura Metel - Datura Metel

Large velvety trumpets, sometimes with lilac shading, held over large dramatic plants. The perfumed flowers are followed by intriguing, thorny but poisonous fruits. A half hardy glabrous perennial.
Commonly known a ‘Angels Trumpet’ and Horn of Plenty’ it is naturalized across many temperate and tropical areas around the globe, but it is most likely that its origin was the Americas.
