Calabrese - Romanesco Natalino

Unusual bright lime-green ,spiral' florets with a distinctive almost nutty flavour. Steam whole heads to retain their shape or eat raw to maximise its sweet distinct flavour and crunchy texture.

Recipe Tip: Soften onion and crushed garlic over a low heat. Arrange in a dish with mushrooms and broccoli florets. Prepare a classic cheese sauce, pour over the vegetables, top with chopped pancetta and grated parmesan. Place in the oven and bake. Delicious served with pork.
