Mizuna - Japanese Salad
The origin of Mizuna is Chinese and it is called Xiu cai. The plant has attractive long shaped, toothed leaves. Can be used fresh in salads or for stir frying. Sow outdoors from mid April until the end of August. Plant out 25cm apart, 40cm between rows. You can harvest the Mizuna after 6-8 weeks, cutting off the leaves just above the soil.
