Oriental Mustard - Ruby Streaks

Very easy to grow Oriental mustard with attractive deeply divided, darkly coloured leaves which become hotter as they mature. Pick as baby leaves for salads or stir-fry larger ones.


Recipe Tip: Heat chopped chilli, garlic and star anise in a pan with a little groundnut oil and rice wine or dry sherry. Hard boil small chicken or quails eggs. Cut the eggs in half and arrange on a bed of Oriental mustard, pour over the warm, spicy dressing and serve.
