Pepper - Hot Jalapeno

The thick walled 7.5cm (3in) long peppers are often harvested green and used in many Mexican dishes. Also called the 'pizza' pepper. Best grown in a greenhouse but can be grown outdoors.

Recipe Tip: Finely chop jalapeno peppers and onion, mix together and add chopped fleshy tomatoes. Season with salt, pepper, lime juice and fresh shredded coriander leaves. Stir well and refrigerate before serving. A great salsa to serve with tacos.
