Alpine strawberries are renowned for the exquisite flavour of their small berries. These compact, bushy plants produce very few runners and are ideal for containers, hanging baskets and borders.

Recipe Tip: Fantastic straight from the plant! Add to syllabub by whipping double cream adding a little white wine and lemon juice. Spoon into a glass and layer with berries. For a simple pastry, layer puff pastry whipped cream and strawberries as high as you like.
