Parsley - Perilla Shiso

One of the typical Japanese herbs, used for the Japanese Umeboshi and for garnishes. Stalks and sprout are served with Sashimi.

Sow in open ground in a seedbed from early until mid summer. Prick out and then plant out, or sow directly outdoors in rows and thin out.
