Vegetable Sprouts - Basil Cress
Basil-Cress is primarily used in Mediterranean dishes, but also in Indonesian and Thai cuisine. Add it to pasta or noodles, salads and of course your home-made Pesto. Basil sprouts slightly more slowly than the other cresses; you can eat the sprouts after about 14 days, when they are 3-5 cm high. Both the leaves and the stems are delicious.
